Bibliography
Dr. Chaozhi Zhang, a full professor of tourism at Fudan University and the UNESCO Chair Holder for Sustainable Tourism at UNESCO-designated sites.

He obtained his Ph.D. from Sun Yat-sen University in 2004 and subsequently obtained positions at Fudan University and Sun Yat-sen University. As of May 2024, he has returned to Fudan University as a distinguished professor. He primarily teaches several undergraduate and graduate courses, such as "Culture and Heritage Tourism," "Tourism Destination Management," and "Introduction to Tourism Studies." He has conducted an extensive study on tourist development and cultural preservation at several notable cultural tourism sites in China. He has published more than 150 articles in both international and domestic peer-reviewed journals, along with five books, over the past two decades. Additionally, he has overseen six national research initiatives.

Professor Dr. Zhang held the UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Tourism at UNESCO Designated Sites and served as an expert member of several international organizations, including the World Economic Forum, ICOMOS-ICTC, IUCN-WCPA, and UN Tourism-MCSTO. He acted as a state advisor for heritage sites such as Zhangjiajie, Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, and Fanjing Shan in the domain of sustainable tourism. Furthermore, he served on the editorial boards of some prominent international and national academic journals. He is also instructing a course entitled "Rural Tourism and Village Tourism" in the AHCITM program at the faculty of architecture, Silpakorn University.
