Tom Svilans
Tom is an architectural researcher, educator, and designer whose focus involves the design, development, and materialization of architecture, with an emphasis on timber. He is currently an Assistant Professor at CITA (Centre for IT and Architecture) at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen, Denmark. His research focuses on the development of novel digital strategies for integrating material performance across the timber value chain and the digital design chain from early‐stage design to fabrication.

Karl Zankl
Karl is an architect and a researcher with a focus on heritage conservation with more than 25 years experience. He is currently a professor at the THWS, University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt and a course director at the Academy of the Bavarian Architects Board for "Energy-oriented Refurbishment of historical Buildings". His projects concern the restoration and conservation of historical structures and buildings. He also gives lectures in India, Australia and New Zealand and currently conducts Heritage Conservation Workshops in Friuli (Italy), As Salt (Jordan) and Ahmedabad (India).
