Objectives of the Program

1. To produce doctoral degree graduates who, apart from having specialized knowledge in landscape architecture and related fields, have developed skills in carrying out inquiries, analyze, synthesize data, and produce new knowledge based on systematic and advanced level research methodology with accountability
2. To produce graduates who possess professional ethics in the field of landscape architecture so as to help improve environmental quality in future
3. To build up further body of knowledge that would lead to raising academic and professional standards in the field of landscape architecture

 

Eligibility to Apply

1. Applicants must possess the qualifications prescribed for each type of study plan as follows: 

Plan 1.1 

1) A Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 1 published peer-reviewed paper or article that was not part of the degree undertaking, in an academic journal or a publication, subject to consideration at the discretion of the Program Operating Committee or 
2) A Master’s degree or equivalent in landscape architecture with at least 1 published peer-reviewed paper or article that was not part of the degree undertaking, in an academic journal or a publication, subject to consideration at the discretion of the Program Operating Committee 

Plan 1.2 

A Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture with grade point average of not less than 3.5 and at least 1 published peer-reviewed paper or article that was not part of the degree undertaking, in an academic journal or a publication, subject to consideration at the discretion of the Program Operating Committee 

Plan 2.1

A Master’s degree or equivalent in architecture, urban design, urban architecture, or other related disciplines with at least 1 published peer-reviewed paper or article that was not part of the degree undertaking, in an academic journal or a publication, subject to consideration at the discretion of the Program Operating Committee

Plan 2.2 

A Bachelor’s degree in architecture, urban design, urban architecture, or other related disciplines with grade point average of not less than 3.5 and at least 1 published peer-reviewed paper or article that was not part of the degree undertaking, in an academic journal or a publication, subject to consideration at the discretion of the Program Operating Committee

2. Passed English proficiency test at the level specified by the Committee of Higher Education or according to that required by Silpakorn University
3. Possess the qualities stipulated under Article 7 of Silpakorn University Graduate Studies Regulations, 2023 and/or subsequent changes thereof.
