Objectives of the Program
1. To produce graduates who, apart from having specialized knowledge in history of architecture and architectural conservation in Thailand and Southeast Asia, also possess moral and ethical qualities
2. To encourage studies and research on history of architecture and architectural conservation in Thailand and Southeast Asia
3. To build up body of knowledge in history of architecture and architectural conservation that can be useful for related academic and professional purposes such as conservation of historic buildings and sites, archaeology, related arts, and cultural tourism
4. To promote conservation of architectural heritage in connection with policies on conservation of national cultural heritage and in accordance with international standards and principles.
Eligibility to Apply
1. Applicants must possess the qualifications prescribed for each type of study plan as follows:
Plan A1
A Bachelor’s degree in any field and have passed all compulsory and elective courses as required by the former Master of Arts program in History of Architecture at Silpakorn University but have yet to complete the degree shall be subject to the approval of the Program Operating Committee
Plan A2 and Plan B
A Bachelor’s degree in any field, subject to deliberation by the Program Operating Committee
2. Possess the qualities stipulated under Article 7 of Silpakorn University Graduate Studies Regulations, 2023 and/or subsequent changes thereof.

Note: - Plans A1 and A2 do not require students to take Comprehensive Exam
- Plan B students are required to take Comprehensive Exam after having studied and passed all compulsory courses and fulfilled necessary course conditions.
